3rd November 2024 Hiking - Walking: Levington Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunday 3rd November - walks *** – Levington circuit – cloudy. My Dad passed away in Ipswich Hospital this morning at the age of 94, with Mag and I both testing positive for covid for a couple of weeks now a big thankyou goes to my sister Sharon for doing such an amazing job looking after him as we had to stay away! We had some noice phone calls from family and some lovely messages on Facebook to brighten our day especially with the gloomy weather continuing! I did manage my exercises before packing our usual picnic and we headed out to find a nice quiet spot to get some fresh air and go for a short walk ending up parking near Levington Church and eating our lunch with nice views down to the River Orwell. We were just up for the short walk down across the reedbed to the river and back along Levington Creek, with the tide dropping there was lots of birds to see a=but again no deer to be seen:( Then home for a cuppa and cake and watxch more rubbish on the TV:( Photo Album here |
